About

In May of 2011, a married couple from Chicago in their early thirties joined the Peace Corps and moved to Paraguay.  He, the general manager of a busy downtown restaurant.  She, a volunteer coordinator for a historic architecture museum and freelance photographer.  Neither spoke much Spanish.

After spending ten weeks near Asunción for Peace Corps Community Economic Development training, the couple now spends every second of the day together in a small southern town just outside Encarnación.
